Les Miserables is such a wonderful book, although it did take me a few months to read it. Such powerful themes and an incredible journey from start to finish.

Whenever I am considering buying a book at a book sale I look at 1 Star and 5 star reviews of it on goodreads-sometimes I can find books I know I’ll love because of the reasons people dislike them haha. And I have Les Mis on my to read shelf-thanks for the reminder to stop putting it off!

Wow..the crying part has really gotten to me. I like connecting with books/tv shows that make me wanna cry..

Like The Leftovers and Being Human. Yet again.. it's long🤦🏽‍♂️ and that really scares me. Is there an audiobook version available?

Yes, there is an unabridged English version on Audible, and probably some others you can find as well.

Well done, Rachel! You certainly have bragging rights for having read this classic. It is an incredible story of grace and redemption and there is always a thread of hope throughout. I commend you for reading a challenging book and applaud you for being able to get your sister to read it!
